Yamaha VMAX was displayed at prestigious Delhi Auto Expo 2010. With its massive looks and aggressive image, the bike stole the show and attracted the crowd towards the Yamaha pavilion. The bike was put at the centre of the pavilion on a round dais. As one entered in the Yamaha pavilion, the VMAX would welcome with awesome look. The ambassador of the bike company and Bollywood star John Abraham visited the pavilion and had a look at the Yamaha VMAX which he also have it in his garage.




This is to be noted that the 2009 Yamaha VMAX with refreshed mill and other features was launched in India in September 2009. This is the third superbike followed by Yamaha YZF R1 and Yamaha MT-01. The iconic bike of Yamaha is powered by a 1679cc V4 engine which belts out a peak power of 200 PS at 9,000 rpm and churns a maximum torque of 166.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The bike is priced at Rs 20 lakh in India, costliest bike in the country so far. However, when the Harley Davidson will hit the showrooms in the nation, Yamaha VMAX will left far behind.

The beast is equipped with most advanced technology such as ABS system, Dual wave discs, six pot radial mounted callipers 320mm. Brembo radial for front brake and single wave disc, 298mm, Brembo master cylinder for rear brake.
