Glimpses of the 12 Harley Davidson Motorcycles due for an Indian launch

Time and again, Harley Davidson India has been harping about the 12 Motorcycle Models it is bringing into the world’s second largest two-wheeler market. Apart from their road shows and boot camps, not to many Indians have seen the Harleys up close. So, we were at the Harley Davidson pavilion at the 2010 Auto Expo, to bring you all the action right from the front lines. Harley Davidson also unveiled a special tricolor edition of the Fat Boy motorcycle. Absolute drool maal would be putting it mildly. As reported by us in the past, the Harley Davidson bike Prices are going to be in the range of Rs. 7 Lakh to Rs. 35 Lakh.

“The bikes will be imported as completely built units (CBU). That’s why there is 100 per cent import duty. However, we will see how the market matures and we are open to manufacturing in India if it is viable. We are here to create a new culture of leisure riding,” said Mr Anoop Prakash, MD Harley Davidson, India.
