Most riders in Queensland learn on 250cc bikes, and upgrade to higher-powered models when they get their open license. Due to technology developed by Japanese engineering ninjas, modern 500 or 600cc engines generate tonnes of thrust, and with a good rider on a tight winding track, these lighter bikes can actually outperform their larger brethren. It's in a straight line that the 750, 900 and 1000cc models tend to crush the competition,

In addition to that, performance parts and accessories can be easily found together with the dealers of Hayabusa motorcycles. Some shops even specialize with the parts and accessories alone. Finding a Hayabusa for sale over the internet is easier to see then than actually going to a dealer as one is unsure whether the motorcycle (or its parts and accessories) is still available or not.

Honda to launch new bikes in India

Honda is planning to launch new sports bikes in India in the next couple of months. The Honda official said that they are going to launch new sports bikes in India in 2009. There has been a sudden surge in the number of sports bike brands entering the Indian bike market, over the past two years. Initially this trend was set by Kinetic with the launch of its 250cc Hyosung Comet in India back in 2005. Then Yamaha launched the Yamaha R1 in India and the MT-01 cruiser bike
in 2007. Soon later followed by the Italian motorcycle leader Ducati
launched an array of sports bikes costing up to Rs. 50 lakhs, and then finally Suzuki joined the super bike group in mid of 2008, with its Hayabusa sports bike and the Intruder cruiser.
Keeping with that trend, Honda also don’t want to be left behind. Honda now intends to provide some competition to the Yamaha R1 and the Suzuki Hayabusa by launching the new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade in India, sometime in the first quarter of this year. And for those who would like to have a naked muscle bike rather than a fully-faired bike, Honda also intends to launch the CB1000R in India. Both bikes are expected to be priced at around Rs 9.5-10.5 lacs, making them marginally less expensive than the R1 and the Hayabusa.
